Cruise the Gorge is the Mid-Columbia Car Club's 33rd-annual weekend, anchored by Saturday's judged 'Show in the Shade' at Sorosis Park — registration at 8 a.m., judging 10 a.m. to noon, awards 2 to 3 p.m. The weekend also includes a Friday-night downtown Neon Cruise and a Sunday show at Dufur City Park. Entry is $25 through July 31, $30 after; proceeds benefit Rotary and Mid-Columbia Car Club community projects.
