The 29th running of Petit Le Mans closes out Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta's season. The race has run to a fixed ten hours since 2014, having previously been 1,000 miles or ten hours, whichever came first, and it is one of the three Endurance Cup crown jewels of the IMSA SportsCar Championship alongside the Rolex 24 and the 12 Hours of Sebring. It traditionally serves as the season-ending round, so championships are frequently decided here.
