Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance Presented by Rolex
Concours entrants prove themselves roadworthy on 17-Mile Drive and Highway One to Big Sur — and the public watches for free.
The Tour is the Thursday counterpoint to Sunday's judged lawn: cars entered in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance take to the road to prove they run, and a Tour finish breaks a tie in their favour back at the Concours. Cars line up on Portola Road at 7 a.m., the Tour departs at 9:30 a.m., traces 17-Mile Drive and Highway One down to Big Sur, and returns to Pebble Beach around noon. The public is invited to watch, without fee, at several points along the route.
