Rockford Fosgate Adds Three Factory-Fit Audio Kits for Polaris RZR and Sportsman

Rockford Fosgate announced three new factory-fit audio systems for Polaris off-road vehicles on August 3, in a release posted to the company's newsroom from its Tempe, Arizona headquarters. The lineup covers two RZR side-by-side products and one built for the Sportsman utility platform, continuing a partnership between the audio brand and Polaris that dates back several years.

The centerpiece is the 2026 RZR PRO-R/PRO-R Boost Subwoofer Kit, built around a 10-inch, 400-watt subwoofer paired with a 1,500-watt, eight-channel amplifier. The kit ships with vehicle-optimized mounting brackets and a one-piece roto-molded enclosure designed to bolt into the PRO-R's chassis, and it includes a 12-volt relocation kit for owners running two-seat configurations rather than the four-passenger layout.

The RZR Phantom Rear Door Speaker Upgrade targets four-passenger RZR owners specifically, adding a pair of 6.5-inch speakers rated at 200 watts total to the rear doors of select PRO-R, PRO-S, and PRO-XP Stage-4 models. Rockford Fosgate says the speakers integrate with Polaris's Ride Command infotainment system, letting them run off the vehicle's existing head unit rather than requiring a separate controller.

For the Sportsman line, the company introduced a Front Rack Audio System pairing two 100-watt, 8-inch coaxial speakers with a 150-watt, two-channel Bluetooth amplifier, all housed in a single roto-molded enclosure. Rockford Fosgate describes the installation as plug-and-play, aimed at Sportsman owners who want audio without routing wiring through the cab.

All three kits use the company's Element Ready construction, which Rockford Fosgate rates for exposure to water, salt, and UV as standard equipment for off-road and utility vehicles that spend time on trails, dunes, or job sites rather than pavement. The company frames the releases as factory-integrated rather than universal-fit, meaning the brackets and wiring are matched to specific Polaris chassis rather than adapted from car-audio hardware.

The expansion follows earlier factory tie-ins between the two companies, including a Stage-4, 800-watt system built into the 2022 Polaris RZR Pro XP Ultimate and a set of bolt-on kits introduced for the Polaris Ranger XP1000 that same year. Rockford Fosgate did not publish pricing or a retail availability date for the three new kits in its announcement, and individual product listings had not yet gone live on the company's site at the time of publication.
