WORK Wheels has revived one of its most requested discontinued designs, releasing the VS KF♯ ("Sharp") as a spiritual successor to the original VS KF, which was pulled from the lineup in 2017. The new wheel keeps the three-piece forged construction the VS KF was known for, with a standard load rating of 720 kg and an increased 840 kg rating on the 21-inch full-reverse variant — enough to cover heavier vehicles like the Alphard and Vellfire that have become a huge part of Japan's wheel market in recent years.
Finish options run from the standard Brilliant Silver Black (full reverse) and Light Grayish Silver (step rim) up through optional buff alumite, bronze anodized, matte bronze, black anodized, matte black, and brushed finishes, with a semi-custom order program offering eleven disk colors. A limited-run Chrome Edition followed in February 2026 for buyers who wanted the design in its most attention-grabbing form.
Reviving a cult-favorite design after an eight-year gap is a low-risk move for a brand like WORK — the VS KF already had a following when it was discontinued, and the KF♯ update (higher load ratings, more finishes) gives longtime fans a reason to buy in again rather than just reissuing the original unchanged.
